Your shoes are guaranteed to be the correct size if you follow the Vein Foot Sizing Chart instructions, and submit your completed chart along with your order.

View, download or print the chart here: Vein Foot Sizing Chart. After you complete the chart, you can scan or take a clear picture of your chart and upload it as part of the ordering process on the Size page. This must be done to qualify for the Correct Size Guarantee.

Correct Size Guarantee: If you have qualified for the correct size guarantee, by submitting your Vein Foot Sizing Chart when you ordered your shoes, but the shoes don't fit and you need another size - send the shoes back and we will make you another pair in the size you want.

Shipping costs to return the original pair are yours, but if you include the receipt we will give you a credit (non-refundable) of up to $40 off your next purchase. We will cover the shipping costs of the second pair out to you.

This guarantee can only be used once.

If you purchase a pair of customised shoes, but do not qualify for the Correct Size Guarantee (that is, you do not upload your completed Vein Foot Size Chart with your order), then we cannot accept a return or exchange.

You will receive the correct shoes

If the shoes you receive are not the same as you ordered, send them back to us unworn within 60 days and we will remake them for you.

Your shoes have a manufacturer warranty

If, in the unlikely event, within 60 days the stitching has come apart, or the sole has separated from the shoe, or the heel has broken or come away from the sole, return them to us and our craftsmen will repair (if possible) or replace the shoes.

Shipping costs to return the original pair are yours, but if you include the receipt we will give you a credit (non-refundable) of up to $40 off your next purchase. We will cover the shipping costs of the repaired pair out to you.

Alternatively, you can have your local shoe repairer fix the issue. Send us the receipt and photos of the damaged shoe. We will give you a credit (non-refundable) for the cost of the repairs.

Can I return them if I don't like them?

Customised shoes: As the shoes have been customised especially for you, we cannot accept returns if you don't like them. But you will LOVE them!

Ready-to-wear shoes: Yes, you can return reay-to-wear shoes for an exchange or credit.

You can purchase on VeinWear.com using a Visa/MasterCard Credit Card, PayPal or by making a direct bank deposit. All methods are totally safe and secure. Read on to find out why.

Pay by VISA/MasterCard Credit Card

Our secure socket layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts your credit card number so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Your payment transaction is directly and exclusively with the Westpac Bank (one of Australia’s “Big 4” banks). At Vein Wear, even we can’t see your credit card details.

All credit card transactions on VeinWear.com have an additional security system. Depending on whether you have a Visa or MasterCard, it’s called “Verified by VISA” or “MasterCard SecureCode”. It acts like an online PIN for your credit card.

Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode is quick and easy to use. You don't need a new card or any special software. Once you've registered for the service, your personalised Verified by Visa/ MasterCard SecureCode window will appear when you make a purchase from a participating Verified by Visa/ MasterCard SecureCode online retailer like VeinWear.com. You just need to check that your Personal Assurance Message appears correctly, then simply enter your Password (both of which you will have set up at time of registration). Once your Password is verified by your bank to validate your identity, you can proceed with your purchase with added confidence - easy!

(All major banks participate. To check if your bank participates, go to your bank’s website and search for “verified by visa”.)

If you have not already set up your Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode password/PIN, don’t worry, you can set one up as part of the checkout process. You'll be asked to create a:

»	Personal Assurance Message - This isn't another password that you need to remember; it's a short phrase or quote that will appear during the online checkout process at participating retailers e.g. "My Dad was born in Paris". Yes, if you are having your shoes delivered to an address anywhere in the world, international airmail is only AU$20.00. So cheap!

You get credit for return shipping costs

If you are sending shoes back to us for any reason, include the receipt and we will give you a credit (non-refundable) of up to $40 for the shipping costs.

Who makes Vein shoes and where?

All of Vein’s latest shoes are hand-made in our Taipei workshop by genuine masters.

Vein Wear Master Pattern-Maker, Sen Shifu, started making shoes aged 15 in 1961. He completed his (minimum) 10-year check-point training by age 28 and has since been commissioned to make custom shoes for the President and other government officials.

Vein Wear Master of Uppers, Mr Ling, started making shoes aged 14 in 1956. He completed his (minimum) 10-year check-point training by age 28 and then specialised in uppers cutting and sewing. He has worked on his favourite sewing machine since 1975.

Vein Wear Master Cobbler, Mr Bitters, started making shoes aged 13 in 1969. He completed his (minimum) 10-year check-point training by aged 28 and was accepted to train further under Sen Shifu (above). He has been making luxury men's shoes for 40 years.

Vein’s production team have terrific working conditions and live in the modern city of Taipei. Taipei has better health, education and transport systems than Brisbane!

We could not attract and keep the high calibre of craftsmen that we do without making them happy. And that means a safe, clean, ethical and respectful working environment.
