Depending on whether you have a Visa or MasterCard, it’s called “Verified
by VISA” or “MasterCard SecureCode”. It acts like an online PIN
for your credit card.
Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode is quick and easy to use. You don't need
a new card or any special software. Once you've registered for the service, your
personalised Verified by Visa/ MasterCard SecureCode window will appear when you
make a purchase from a participating Verified by Visa/ MasterCard SecureCode online
retailer like VeinWear.com. You just need to check that your Personal Assurance
Message appears correctly, then simply enter your Password (both of which you will
have set up at time of registration). Once your Password is verified by your bank
to validate your identity, you can proceed with your purchase with added confidence
- easy!

website and search for “verified by visa”.)
