A recent shoot for France-based Ninja Magazine used the Vein Wear Long Brogue Boots in Grey and Black.
Ninja Mag and Lab Mag are both available to view free online at ninja-mag.com. I highly recommend adding it to your favourites list. It is available in both French and English sites.
The magazine features an inspiring collection of art, graphics, fashion, design and photography. It has been an honour to have my designs included. |

FHM Jan 2009 |
| |
This is a case of credit where credit is not due. The shoe pictured in the Jan 2009 FHM at No.1 says it is one of ours. Alas it is not. We do have a similar style of canvas shoe (pictured at bottom right), but without the espadrilles thing...ewe. |

Alvin Manalo - Saint Augustine Academy Designer |
| |
There was once
an unemployed
designer named
Alvin, who liked to
flog printed tees and
jeans at weekend
markets. Turns out his
wares were pretty ace
and became a big hit.
Five years later, and
AJ's now fully fledged
fashion label, Saint
AugustineAcademy, is stocked all
overtheworld. Yay for him! He has a
pretty cool rock-star following too,
including Interpol, The Killers and
Bloc Party. So FHM Magazine thought they'd chuck
Alvin $1000 to deliver us instant credo.
His pick for shoes...Vein Wear Speed Stripe Zip Ankle Boot. Manalo says, "These boots have become my number-one wardrobe staple. They make a great everyday item."
