Step 1. Get a piece of paper, a pen, a ruler, a normal pair of socks and either a soft measuring tape or a 35cm piece of string. If you can get someone to help you take the measurements it is easier because you should be standing.
Step 2. While wearing your socks, stand up (not sitting) and place your larger foot on the paper diagonally.
Step 3. Keeping the pen vertical at all times, trace around the outline of your foot.
Step 4. Mark the inside and outside ball of the foot (behind your toes) on the paper.
Step 5. Using the measuring tape or string, measure (mm) the circumference of your foot around the ball of the foot. Make a note of the measurement on the paper next to the ball of the foot mark. This is your "Ball Circumference".
Step 6. Remove your foot and get the pen and ruler. Mark the following on your foot drawing.
Step 7. Draw and measure (mm) a line from the back of the heel to the longest point of the foot (the tip of either your first or second toe). This is your "Heel to Toe Foot Length". Make a note of the measurement on the paper near your toe.
Step 8. Draw and measure (mm) a line between your marks for the inside and outside ball of the foot. This is your "Foot Width Across Ball of Foot". Make a note of this measurement next to the ball of the foot mark.
Step 9. Measure (mm) along the "Heel to Toe" line from the heel to the intersection of the "Foot Width Across Ball of Foot" line. This will be your "Heel to Ball Length". Make a note of this measurement at the intersection.
Step 10. Take your "Heel to Toe Foot Length" measurement and put it in the sizing table. It will be between two sizes. The size up is your size. For example, if your actual measurement was 283mm, it is between 280.3mm(size 42) and 286.9mm(size 43). So your size would be 43.
Step 11. Check that your "Ball Circumference" measurement is less than the "Max Ball Circumference" for your size. To continue the example, if your "Ball Circumference" was 248mm then is it less than the maximum allowed for size 43 which is 255mm. So 43 is the correct size.
Step 12. If your foot's actual "Ball Circumference" is larger than the "Max Ball Circumference" allowed for that size then some slightly more complicated calculations need to be made. Please fill in this form and we will email you the most likely correct size.
